TVBytheNumbers.com has recently released the viewing information for the Feb. 17 edition of “Monday Night Raw.” The episode was the final edition of the program before its Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, which will occur on Feb. 23 in Minneapolis, Minn. at the Target Center. The program averaged 4,364,000 viewers, which is ever so slightly up from the previous week’s number of 4,330,000 viewers.
The show started out strong, averaging 4,622,000 viewers. The first hour of the program had Daniel Bryan pull double duty as he faced both Christian and WWE Director of Operations Kane. Viewership then dropped for the second hour as it averaged 4,296,000 viewers. This hour ended with the beginning of the match between Cesaro and John Cena. For the third and final hour, viewership went down to 4,134,000 viewers, as the show closed with The Wyatt Family, The Shield, and the six competitors for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber match brawling in the ring.
Additionally, the website noted that the final rating for the show was a 1.4, which is down from last week’s rating of 1.7 in terms of adults aged from 18-49. However, despite the decrease in ratings for the demographic, “Monday Night Raw’s” 1.4 rating made it Monday’s top cable program.
