WWE claims that CM Punk has not been released from his current contract with the company. A new report from F4Wonline.com states that World Wrestling Entertainment is officially discrediting any reports that say that Punk was granted a release from the company on Feb. 14.

As we previously reported, PWInsider.com told the world that Punk was released from his current WWE contract Monday morning. The story claims that during last weekend’s WWE Live Events, the word backstage was that Punk had been officially granted his release on Valentines Day. However, F4Wonline.com argues that this story is completely false.

According to F4Wonline.com, WWE has revealed through a statement that Punk has not yet been released, even if he has been removed from all upcoming WWE Live Events, including Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania XXX. Punk reportedly walked out on the WWE just before “Monday Night Raw” went live on Jan. 27.
