On the August 23 Smackdown the newest “Paul Heyman Guy,” Curtis Axel challenged “The Best in the World,” CM Punk to a rematch on the August 26 edition of Monday Night Raw. Curtis Axel will likely be the next roadblock for Punk as he continues to try and get his hands on his former best friend, Paul Heyman.

Since Heyman cost Punk a shot at the WWE Championship Money in the Bank contract at Money in the Bank, Punk has been keen on exacting revenge on arguably one of the greatest managers in wrestling history. Heyman added even more fuel to the fire when he broke up a pin Punk had on Brock Lesnar during their match at SummerSlam. Punk went on to lose the match and fail to get his hands on Heyman.

CM Punk vs. Curtis Axel will take place on Monday Night Raw as Punk accepted the challenge via Twitter:

The two are also rumored to face off once again at Night of Champions, the possible match card can be seen here.
