Last week, John Cena and Roman Reigns took a couple of shots at each other on Twitter, which led to the obvious question: will there be a match between the two at some point in the near future?

According to Cageside Seats, the Reigns vs. Cena Twitter beef won’t lead to a match between the two anytime soon. But, that doesn’t mean that they won’t meet at some point in 2017.

WWE has been trying to make Roman Reigns the new face of the company for almost three years now, but the fans have badly rejected it. The company has tried almost everything, with the exception of turning him heel, to get the fans to cheer him.

Another thing that they haven’t tried is booking him in a match with John Cena. Of course, booking him with Cena probably wouldn’t get him cheered, as the people would probably, for the first time in over a decade, get behind the fifteen time WWE champ in the match. But, one thing is for sure, it’d be a huge match if/when it happens.
