Top Raw Star In Line For A Major Push Following Great Balls of Fire

It appears that one of Monday Night Raw’s top stars is in line for a big push following Sunday’s Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view, as former NXT Champion Samoa Joe will get a major push coming out of the show.

As of right now, the plan is for Samoa Joe to lose to Brock Lesnar at Great Balls of Fire, however, that doesn’t mean that his main event push will end there. According to Cageside Seats, Joe has impressed a ton of important people in WWE during his program with Brock Lesnar, which is why he’s in line for a push.

It does look like WWE is going with Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam, so Joe winning the title at Great Balls of Fire is out of the question. But, that doesn’t mean that he won’t win it at some point in the near future.
