It’s been reported that WWE is planning on doing another draft at some point this year, possibly in June. But, another report has surfaced which suggests that this year’s draft could take place a lot sooner than expected.
According to Cageside Seats, WWE is thinking about doing another draft immediately following WrestleMania 33. It’s unclear if the draft will be like the one we saw last July, or if it’ll be like the drafts we saw in the late 2000s where the picks will be completely random.
We’ve already heard about some potential roster moves like AJ Styles moving to Raw, and Roman Reigns possibly moving to SmackDown. Also, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that WWE will call up several NXT stars following WrestleMania, so the planned call ups, such as Elias Samson, will likely end up getting drafted.
