It looks like Chris Jericho’s current run with WWE is finally going to come to an end following next Sunday’s Payback show, where he’ll go one on one with Kevin Owens for the United States Championship.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jericho is set to go on tour with his band Fozzy at the end of this month. The tour will run throughout most of May, and there’s a strong chance that he will return following the tour’s conclusion.

One thing that Y2J might do before his exit is put Elias Samson over on Raw. In fact, don’t be surprised if that match is booked on either this week’s show, or next week’s show. If it’s booked for next week’s show, it’ll likely end up being Jericho’s final match before heading out on tour with his band.
