The Latest on Eva Marie’s Status With WWE

It still doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing the “Red Queen” anytime soon.

According to the latest report from PWInsider, Eva Marie and WWE will be parting ways once her contract expires. Both sides are being silent about the issue, as her time on “Total Divas” has not expired and she still has contractual obligations to the show. While the two sides could always patch things up, it’s not likely.

Eva Marie has not been seen on WWE programming since she was suspended for a Wellness Policy violation in August of 2016. It has been previously reported that she was finished with the company, based upon certain things found in her Twitter profile.

I must admit that I am sad that I won’t be seeing “The Red Queen” in WWE again. While many people could not stand her, I thought that her voiceover gimmick and the way that she trolled the WWE Universe was hilarious. I’m still convinced that if it wasn’t for her wellness policy violation, she would have been the first “Smackdown Live” Women’s Champion!
