At last year’s WrestleMania, Dean Ambrose wrestled Brock Lesnar in one of the show’s featured matches, and just a few months later, he won his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship. But, it was all downhill from there, as he went on to have a forgettable title run, and at this year’s WrestleMania, he ended up wrestling on the pre-show.

On this past Monday’s Raw, The Miz, who Ambrose is currently feuding with, essentially called him lazy and complacent, as he pointed out the fact that the ex-Shield member was left off of WrestleMania 33’s main card, and according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Miz’s promo echoed how WWE management feels about Ambrose at the moment.

“Okay so, usually when those words are used on television and promos, it’s because somebody thinks that,” said Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio. “It sounds like somebody feels like Dean is too complacent right now, so it sucks for him.”
