Next week’s SmackDown show will feature a match between John Cena and Shinsuke Nakamura, where the winner will go on to challenge Jinder Mahal for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam.

According to Cageside Seats, we should expect to see John Cena win that match, although it’s unclear if he’ll win the title.

A few months ago, we heard about a potential Cena vs. Mahal title match at SummerSlam, where Cena would win and break Ric Flair’s world title record. However, in the rumored scenario, Cena’s record-breaking title reign won’t last long, as Baron Corbin would immediately cash-in his Money in the Bank contract.
