The following dates have not yet been confirmed, but the locations for the final three WWE PPVs of 2016 have been unofficially released. They are as follows:
- “WWE Hell in A Cell” – Boston, Massachusetts (October 30th)
- “WWE Survivor Series” – Toronto, Ontario, Canada (November 20th)
- “WWE TLC” – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (December 18th)
There is nothing special about “Hell in a Cell” in Boston, or “TLC” in Pittsburgh. However, “Survivor Series” taking place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada is something that city has been roughly a decade in the making.
Here’s a fun fact: the last time WWE held a PPV in Toronto was “Unforgiven” 2006 in the infamous “TLC” match between Edge and John Cena. Earlier this year, WWE had “Roadblock” in Toronto, but that wasn’t an official PPV.
This will be the first time in a decade that there is a WWE PPV in Toronto, which is obviously a big deal for the people of that city. It is most likely going to be a very explosive and intense crowd for “Survivor Series.”
Of course, it’s going to be very difficult to predict the card, but the latest rumor claims that we could be seeing the return of “War Games” to WWE for the event.
