However, that didn’t drastically alter WWE’s plans because they had Roman Reigns and John Cena to fall back on when it came to Wrestlemania in Dallas. The rumored Cena vs. Undertaker match would have been an epic atmosphere and something truly special, but that is now kaput with Cena’s major injury.
Now that Cena is going to miss the first Wrestlemania of his career, WWE has to alter major plans that the powers that be within WWE were definitely not prepared to change.
According to the Wrestling Observer, Vince McMahon already had all major Wrestlemania 32 matches planned as far back as a year ago. Injuries to Randy Orton, Rollins, Cena and others are going to give us a Wrestlemania that could be a shell of what it was originally meant to be.
There is a long list of things to take care of now that Cena is out. WWE needs to lockdown that WWE title picture after the “Royal Rumble”, find a replacement match for Undertaker, figure out what The Rock is doing at Mania and do whatever they can to eliminate any more injuries. For the love of god, the roster can’t handle any more major injuries.
