John Cena has had a great 2015 both in the ring and on the silver screen. He was featured in “Trainwreck”, “Sisters”, and “Daddy’s Home”. Cena has made claims that he specifically chooses his film roles that give him some time off from WWE, but doesn’t take away too much time.

With Cena’s success in 2015, he could make a full transition to Hollywood. It comes as no surprise that he is going to receive more offers from Hollywood. He’s definitely raised his stock, including “Amerian Grit” and his recent appearance on the “Today” show.

According to The Wrestling Observer, NBCUniversal is actively trying to change the image of pro wrestling and John Cena hosting the show on a regular basis is an attempt to get hands-on with WWE as a brand.

NBCU has a lot of stock on WWE now that USA has doubled down on the company with Raw on Monday nights and Smackdown on Thursday.

USA Network is NBCU’s most profitable network, and the network will be airing WWE programming in five of its twenty-one weekly primetime hours starting next week. It is important to all involved to sell those five hours to sponsors.

John Cena’s Hollywood career is going to do a lot for WWE with the USA Network, connections to film studios and The Rock’s involvement in Wrestlemania 32 is only going help enhance WWE’s image.
