Over the past year or so, veteran roles on WWE television have changed a lot. There is a big difference between how WWE is treating Chris Jericho versus a guy like Big Show.
Specifically, guys like Big Show, Mark Henry, and Kane have been featured less and less on WWE television because WWE is looking to build new stars, which is a great thing.
The only question is what happens to guys like Big Show or Henry who have been with the company for twenty years? Well, they’re being transitioned into other roles.
According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, the roles for Big Show and Mark Henry are changing backstage. Both men are becoming ambassadors and producers for WWE.
The Big Show still has a lot to offer WWE, especially if his match with Shaq becomes a reality next year at Wrestlemania, which seems to be the case.
Honestly, Big Show could do great things at the WWE Performance Center and in WWE developmental to teach big men the tricks necessary to be different. Henry also has two decades of knowledge and experience to offer, so both men still have a ton to offer.
Do you think Big Show and Mark Henry should have retirement matches?
