Stone Cold Steve Austin Could Be Returning to WWE at Upcoming PPV

The last time we saw Stone Cold Steve Austin was Wrestlemania 32 earlier this year. Alongside Shawn Michaels and Mick Foley, he confronted The League of Nations, danced with The New Day, gave “Stunners” and drank beer.

However, he also suffered a torn rotator cuff that was already needing surgery, which has led to a lot of speculation that Austin may never appear in WWE again.

For Stone Cold, performing at Wrestlemania 32 in Dallas in front of the largest wrestling crowd ever while delivering “Stunners” and drinking beer is a good way to go out.

At the same time, it seems like a very unlikely end to The Texas Rattlesnake’s career. In fact, he may be back on WWE television much sooner than you’d think.

According to a report from RingSideNews.com, Stone Cold could be making his next appearance on WWE programming at the “Royal Rumble” next year in San Antonio.

WWE is trying to make next year’s “Royal Rumble” PPV as grand as it can be, so a big name like Stone Cold Steve Austin in Texas should do the trick. Obviously, he won’t be wrestling a match, but the WWE Universe will always welcome Stone Cold back.
