The WWE Universe was pleasantly surprised to see Daniel Bryan and Kane reunited on SmackDown Live to bring back “Team Hell No.” As happy as most people are to see the dynamic duo back together, there are some questions about their reunion. Frankly, the WWE Universe would much rather have Daniel Bryan featured in the WWE Title hunt.

According to a report from DirtySheets, his contract status remains a mystery and the expectation is Bryan still hasn’t re-signed with the company yet. As a result, WWE may be booking his “goodbye tour” on WWE television just in case the two sides can’t come to an agreement by September 1st. If that’s the case, Team Hell No’s reunion makes a bit more sense since there aren’t many opportunities to play that angle for much longer.
The plan seems to be for The Miz to cost Team Hell No the SmackDown Tag Team Titles at Extreme Rules. Obviously, that will lead to the long-awaited Bryan vs. Miz Match that the WWE Universe has wanted to see. Depending on how the contract negotiations turn out between the two sides, that could be the bitter end for Daniel Bryan’s WWE career.
The WWE Universe was pleasantly surprised by Kane’s WWE return:
Obviously, most people are expecting WWE officials and Daniel Bryan to work out some kind of deal. The report claims that a short-term deal may happen first to ensure Bryan remains with the company for the rest of the year and through WWE’s Australian Super Show that’s coming in October. A lot can happen between now and the end of the year, but it seems WWE is booking the “Daniel Bryan Goodbye Tour” until things change.
