King Barrett was introduced as a member of the League of Nations along with Alberto Del Rio, Rusev, and the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Sheamus.

Barrett made an appearance on the “TLC” preshow, but he wasn’t involved in the main event match between Roman Reigns and Sheamus. During that match, Del Rio and Rusev’s interference cost Reigns the title.

The current King of the Ring was also absent from Monday Night Raw last night and his disappearance from WWE television hasn’t been explained until now.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, it was reported by Dave Meltzer that King Barrett has sustained another injury that is putting him back on the shelf. Unfortunately, it isn’t confirmed what the injury is, or how long Barrett will be out of action.

However, he is still traveling with the WWE roster to all of WWE events, so that’s a good sign that it isn’t serious as of this writing.

In the long term, this is potentially a good thing for Barrett. I thought he would have made a great mouthpiece for the League of Nations, and an injury shouldn’t stop him from filling that role.

This guy has had far too many injuries already, and he’s potentially a major member of the League of Nations. Being taken off television again is the worse thing WWE could do to Barrett right now.
