Rumor Mill: Roman Reigns vs. Triple H at “Royal Rumble”

Last night’s “TLC” PPV was not a good evening for Roman Reigns, but he made damn sure that Triple H had a worse night.

After losing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship TLC match to Sheamus through interference by the League of Nation members Alberto Del Rio and Rusev, Reigns got his revenge on all of them after the match.

But the central focus of his wrath came down on the COO of the WWE, Triple H. Reigns attacked The Game and ensured that when Triple H left the Boston Garden, he did it in an ambulance.

January 24th is the official date of the “Royal Rumble”. It will be the first PPV of the 2016 calendar year, but also the first PPV on the Road to Wrestlemania. Reigns has now attacked The Authority and taken out The Game. He is unlikely to get any WWE Championship opportunities after his actions last night

He’s unlikely to get any WWE Championship opportunities after his actions last night. It’s unclear if Triple H will be on tonight’s Monday Night Raw, but given how WWE has pushed his “injury status”, he most likely will not be.

That is going to leave Stephanie McMahon with exacting her revenge on Roman Reigns tonight. However, when Triple H returns, he is obviously going to seek his own brand of vengeance on Reigns that will lead to a match between them at the “Royal Rumble”, or Wrestlemania.

For now, we have to wait and see how WWE plans to build the feud between Reigns and Triple H.
