Unfortunately, the few continue to take the air out of the show for the many.

Last night, NXT held an NXT live event in Sheffield, England last night. There was yet another incident of fans jumping the rail and interfering with the show. The incident happened during the NXT Tag Team Title Match between Dash and Dawson and Chad Gable/Jason Jordan.

According to Wrestling-Edge.com, they were contacted by a source named James P. who sent them the following statement on the fan interference:

“I was at the NXT event last night. To clarify a fan managed to get into the ring and got very close to the competitors who were on the mat in a hold I believe. The producers and security staff were in the ring immediately and got him out of there. It was a shame as it was a fantastic tag title match and it took all the air out of the match. The crowd were hot for Jordan and Gable, I mean hot. I haven’t witnessed a crowd react to a team as they did to them like they did. I hope nxt management was paying attention [because] the crowd made their thoughts on Jordan and Gable loud and clear.”

Dash and Dawson went on to gain the victory and move onto NXT Takeover: London. But, NXT brass has something special on their hands with Gable and Jordan. Hopefully, they get their chance soon.
