Tyson Kidd was a WWE Superstar that could have and most likely would have become a major player the longer he was given a fair chance to reach his potential.
In NXT, his heel run and feud with Neville doesn’t get enough credit for the match quality those two men had together and for it’s importance in helping establish NXT as the industry’s hottest brand two years ago.
His Tag Team Championship reign with Cesaro was a great thing for both men, but it gave Kidd a spot on the main roster that he hadn’t been able to achieve. He was a future midcard champion in the making.
Unfortunately, a “Muscle Buster” from Samoa Joe caused a serious spinal injury that had a 95% chance of killing him on spot forced him to lose the last year of his career.
According to a report from WrestlingNewsSource.com, Kidd’s WWE contract is set to expire next month and there is a 1% chance that WWE will sign him to an active wrestler’s contract. As of this writing, it looks like Tyson Kidd has absolutely wrestled his last match in WWE and maybe of his entire career.
Where do you think Tyson Kidd would be now if he hadn’t been injured?
