Tommy Dreamer Returns to WWE

WWE brought out a great little surprise. Just a few minutes after Lana made her return to WWE and reunited with her fiancee Rusev, The Dudley Boyz began the second hour of Monday Night Raw with tables over the shoulders.

The nine-time tag team champions did something quite rare in WWE. They called out The Wyatt Family loud and clear with a table marked specifically for each Wyatt.

When the Wyatts answered, they had Bubba and D-Von surrounded with their four members, but the Dudley Boyz would bring out a “family member” of their own to even the odds. In a big surprise, Tommy Dreamer returned to WWE to take on Braun Strowman, Erick Rowan, and Luke Harper in a six-man tag team match.

Unfortunately, the match didn’t last very long as the referee quickly lost control of the match and it was ruled a no contest. However, The Wyatts began to decimate Team Extreme and started setting up the tables to final the job. However, Bubba Ray knocked Bray Wyatt off the apron and through a table on the outside.

It appears as though the veterans of extreme will be feuding with The Wyatt Family. Bray Wyatt just got done feuding with The Undertaker and Kane. It’s very unlikely that Bray Wyatt won’t seek revenge for tonight’s actions, and he won’t stop until he’s gotten what he wanted. The Wyatt Family is going extreme.

There is no official word on the details of Tommy Dreamer’s new role, but they’re bound to emerge over the week. It does seem like Dreamer will be around for at least a little while.
