It’s no secret that being a diehard fan of WWE is a lot of work. To be fully caught up every week, you’d have to watch Monday Night Raw, SmackDown, NXT, any monthly PPVs, Main Event, and Superstars. That’s not even including the WWE Network content like The Edge & Christian Show, Camp WWE, or whatever else is out.
Even as a casual fan, the three-hour commitment to watch Raw every week is a lot for most people. Back in the heyday of the Attitude Era, Raw used to be two hours, and that was it.
Well, The USA Network and WWE are going to give that option back to you sooner than you’d think.
According to PWInsider.com, Syfy will begin airing a condensed, two-hour version of Raw every week starting as early as tonight. Every week, this edited version of Monday Night Raw will air from 8 to 10 pm on Fridays.
This replay is going to be a regular addition to Syfy’s schedule for a least a few more weeks to see how ratings and viewership goes.
The network has been showing WWE programming for several years, including ECW, NXT, and SmackDown. It was that programming that led to SmackDown moving to USA Network which is the parent network of Syfy, but both are owned by NBC Universal.
