Shinsuke Nakamura is Signed With WWE for Three Years

We’re less than a month away from NXT Takeover: Dallas only two nights from Wrestlemania 32 in April.

Takeover: Dallas is going to be particularly special because it will be the NXT and WWE debut of Shinsuke Nakamura. One of the best wrestlers in New Japan Pro Wrestling and the world is finally going to have a bigger stage and spotlight the WWE provides to its audience.

The King of Strong Style is going to set the wrestling world on fire when he debuts in Dallas against Sami Zayn. The only question is how long will his reign of fire in WWE last?

Nakamura recently signed his WWE contract, but the details of his pay and the duration of his deal weren’t revealed at the time.

Now, we know that Shinsuke will be the first NXT performer to receive top guy money from WWE, but we also know through the Wrestling Observer that the deal is also for three years.

His deal will expire in February 2019 only a short time before Wrestlemania 35. It’s far too early to predict what is going to happen there, but it’s not out of the question to assume he’ll be resigned or extended to Mania 35 to finish off his run with WWE.
