Shinsuke Nakamura is on fire in NXT right now. His feud with Samoa Joe is about to reaches a fever pitch as NXT Takeover: Toronto inches closer. The rumors have Joe debuting on WWE TV shortly after, but that’ll leave Nakamura to take care of NXT.

It was recently reported that WWE doesn’t have any plans for Shinsuke to debut on the main roster anytime soon, which means he’ll be holding onto the NXT Championship through at least Wrestlemania season. However, he’ll be called up eventually, right?

Recently, Daniel Bryan did an interview with Ringside Collectibles and the topic of NXT stars he’d like to draft to SmackDown Live came up. Of course, one of the first names he mentioned was the current NXT Champion.

You can watch the full interview with Daniel Bryan right here. Below is what Bryan had to say about bringing “The King of Strong Style” to SmackDown in the future.

“That’s really, tough. I would love to have Nakamura because I roomed with him for a short time. I’ve known him for a long time. Samoa Joe, because I’ve known him for a long time too. There are so many great people down there. The women’s champion Asuka is really good. I love Austin Aries. Bobby Roode is really good too.”

Is Nakamura coming up to the main roster?

Do you think Shinsuke Nakamura is a better fit for Raw or SmackDown?
