Finn Balor didn’t need more than a few weeks to make a major impact on Raw. His debut on the main roster was rumored for a long time, but it only took a few weeks for him to become the WWE Universal Champion and become a superstar for the company.

It’s just unfortunate that his injury happened when it did. After reaching the pinnacle of WWE, missing the next four to six months is rotten luck, but there is no question that he will be back on WWE programming before Wrestlemania 33 for a huge match.

Although the expectation was that Finn wouldn’t be able to return to the ring until February or March, it was recently reported that Balor would be at “Roadblock” in December in a non-wrestling role. It was believed that he may reveal his return date.

Even more recently, Finn Balor did an interview with ScreenGeek.com to reveal that the rumor isn’t true. He won’t be a part of “Roadblock. You can read the full interview right here. Below is what Finn had to say about his rumored return:

“I can 100% guarantee – what date is Roadblock? December 18th? I will 100% guarantee that I will be home with my family and friends at Christmas. I will be back in 2017.”
