Sasha Banks Wants to Be Drafted to SmackDown

It was revealed last week that there will be brand split this summer. As Shane and Stephanie McMahon said last night on Monday Night Raw, it’s a work in progress. A ton of things haven’t been worked out yet.

For example, we don’t know how the Women’s division is going to work. Will there be two different World titles or a Women’s midcard title established?

No matter what, it seems that The Boss has chosen a side. A recent WWE exclusive caught up with Sasha Banks and got her thoughts on the upcoming WWE Draft that will split the WWE into two brands.

“When I heard the news, I was super excited because that’s what I grew up watching. I loved watching SmackDown because all my favorites were there. Eddie Guerrero, Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio, and to know that there’s a possibility that I can be on either Raw or SmackDown, I’m kind of leaning more towards SmackDown.

That was my favorite. I think it’s going to be awesome for WWE and for the WWE Universe because…it’s just going to be better. I really can’t wait for July to come around. So, fingers crossed!”
