Rumor: WWE Planning The Club vs. The Shield Feud After Seth Rollins Returns

Last month, Roman Reigns was questioned about the possibility of a Shield reunion to which he replied, “One Day We’ll Have to Get Back Together.”

Seth Rollins is due back to WWE programming sooner rather than later. In fact, the rumor is he’ll be back on the June 6th edition of Monday Night Raw.

Another rumor is starting that “One day” may be sooner than you would think.

According to a report from DailyWrestlingNews.com, John Cena will be involved with the United States title because WWE officials want him kept away from the current feud between AJ Styles and Roman Reigns.

The reasoning behind that is there could be some plans for Reigns vs. Styles to eventually lead to the reunion of The Shield.and develop into a feud between The Hounds of Justice and The Club.

All three men of The Shield are in a good position for a Shield reunion. Rollins is bound to come back as a natural face. Dean Ambrose has never stopped being a top face for the company since the stable broke up, and the group’s reunion could force the WWE Universe to lighten up on Roman Reigns quite a bit.
