It was revealed a few days ago that Booker T will be returning to the ring during a combined show of his promotion “Reality of Wrestling” and Tommy Dreamer’s “House of Hardcore.”

Booker and Dreamer will be teaming against another team in August. There is some speculation about Booker T returning to the ring for WWE, but there is even more for Dreamer to return to WWE after the brand split.

According to a report from DailyWrestlingNews.com, Tommy Dreamer was backstage for this past Tuesday’s SmackDown tapings in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Since then, the rumor mill has been claiming that Dreamer is a potential veteran that WWE may bring back to Raw or SmackDown to help with the brand split. The former ECW superstar was on WWE TV late last year.

However, there would be a huge issue that could prevent Dreamer from returning to WWE. If he were to return, WWE officials would want Dreamer to sign a contract, which would mean he can’t run his “House of Hardcore” promotion any longer.

Dreamer has put so much work into “House of Hardcore,” and maybe something can be worked out between the two parties. As the WWE Draft gets closer and closer, it’ll become more unlikely that Dreamer will return.
