It is amazing to see the changes that NXT has already undergone after the post-Wrestlemania call-ups and debuts that have occurred in the past few months.

The thing that is really crazy is NXT is about to undergo even more drastic change because it’s been reported that NXT is going to be “raided” for the brand split, and six talents are being penciled in for the main roster.

However, it is being reported by CageSideSeats.com that Shinsuke Nakamura will not be one of those six wrestlers to move on to the main roster in July.

The report is claiming that Nakamura will most likely be getting an NXT Championship title reign before he comes to the main roster.

That makes sense because the “friendly feud” that has begun between Shinsuke and Finn Balor seems to be the last stop for Nakamura before he makes it his mission to become the NXT Champion.

The expectation is Samoa Joe will be the NXT Champion this summer, so we’re most likely headed for Joe vs. Nakamura. That’s a great match-up, but it’s going to be even more interesting to see what the rest of the roster will look like when that time comes.

Do you think Shinsuke Nakamura should stay in NXT or move to the main roster?
