It’s an extremely painful truth that Daniel Bryan’s push to the top of the wrestling world was a success, but it wasn’t successful.

From a business standpoint, his quest to become WWE Champion made the company a lot of money. However, it would have been his reign on top that would have made Bryan and WWE even more money in the long-term.

From the fans perspective, losing Daniel Bryan so soon after Wrestlemania 30 and seeing him never fully recover will always leave an incomplete feeling because of how much Daniel Bryan had left in the tank.

According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, WWE is now looking to recreate the dynamic of Daniel Bryan through Sami Zayn.

Apparently, Vince McMahon and other WWE officials are booking Zayn to lose more often than not because the theory is that will get fans on his side and build a rapport with them.

They’re not wrong considering that is essentially how he became the most beloved star in NXT. Vince and the WWE officials feel that his Sami is a strong worker with a very likeable personality that will give him the best chance to get over like Daniel Bryan did back in 2013.

It was reported in the past that Vince McMahon was “meh” on Sami Zayn’s character, but he’s either had a change of heart, or something else has occurred to make him think Sami Zayn has this in him.

Do you think the Daniel Bryan type push will work for Sami Zayn?
