It’s no secret that John Cena has done well for himself outside of WWE over the past year. Between some movie roles, “American Grit”, and appearances at many special events, he’s got two careers going right now.

After “No Mercy,” Cena is going to be take a hiatus from WWE for at least two months to film the second season of “American Grit,” so you’d think his plate would be full enough between “Grit” and WWE.

However, his momentum in Hollywood could take him into a new direction. There is a rumor going around that Mark Miller is eyeing John Cena for a superhero role for his new film “Superior.”

The film would be released by 20th Century Fox, which is convenient and there is no question that Cena could play a big screen superhero. The question is how much more time he can take away from WWE?

Cena is expected back on WWE programming by late December or early January once he’s done filming “American Grit.” It’s going to be the road to Wrestlemania 33, so is Cena going off to film another movie as the main actor a good idea at WWE’s most important time of the year for him to be around?
