Rumor: Jack Swagger Moving to SmackDown

Jack Swagger hasn’t been given a lot of time on WWE television for quite some time. It’s unfortunate because he is one of the most underutilized wrestlers under the WWE umbrella.

Last night, he put over Jinder Mahal during Monday Night Raw, which was confusing for some people. More importantly, he was asked after the match about his “Raw” contract expiring, but Swagger didn’t respond.

According to a report from RingSideNews.com, the expectation is that this angle for Swagger is going to end up with him leaving Raw for a roster spot on SmackDown.

Apparently, WWE officials are aware that he is being held back on Raw and is “lost in the shuffle.” The idea is that Swagger would receive a much bigger push on SmackDown, which is obviously better for him.

“We the People” is still very over with the WWE Universe as last night proved, so WWE thinks there is still money in Jack Swagger that has gone misused for quite a long time now.

Not to mention that Alberto Del Rio’s position on SmackDown is wide open after being released last week. It would be a roster move on paper, but it could also lead to something good for Swagger.
