Since the brand extension, Dolph Ziggler has been heavily featured on SmackDown and been given title matches, but there is a huge difference between being in those match and having a real chance of winning.

Ziggler still has a great chance to become the Intercontinental Champion at “No Mercy,” but his time with WWE may be drawing to close and bring his wrestling career into new territory.

According to a rumor from Four3Four.com, Dolph Ziggler WWE contract is set to expire at some point next month. The belief at this time is that Dolph won’t be resigning with the company in October.

Ziggler could resign with WWE, but there are plenty of other promotions for him to work with that would be thrilled to have someone of his still available.

The truth is he may have gone as far as he can in WWE because he’s not likely to win a WWE World title in the near future, so it makes sense for him to explore his options outside of WWE.

It’s not like Dolph Ziggler would struggle for a place to wrestle. In fact, TNA Wrestling, Ring of Honor, and other promotion would line up for his services. The end of the road for him in WWE may be for the best.

Do you think Dolph Ziggler should leave WWE?
