The New Day have been WWE World Tag Team Champions for four hundred and forty-three days as of this writing. Their run has been historic and great fun, but Raw’s tag team scene is dying for something new.

There is nothing left for The New Day to accomplish as Raw’s Tag Team Champions aside from putting over another team by losing to them. WWE has had many opportunities to do that, but “Clash of Champions” is a make or break situation and a title change is not only welcome, but it’s also necessary for Anderson and Gallows.

According to a rumor from CageSideSeats.com, Anderson and Gallows are expected to win the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship from The New Day. That’s great news because they need the titles at this point.

WWE hasn’t done the best job of booking Anderson and Gallows the way they deserve to be. Their team should be feared and respected. They should be dominate, but they’re just another team in the division.

However, a title win over The New Day is going to make them the team that finally dethroned The New Day, which is a huge momentum boost and gives Raw’s tag team scene new life. The truth is Anderson and Gallows not only should win the tag team titles at “Clash of Champions,” it’s a wonder they didn’t earlier.
