Summer Rae is a curious WWE Superstar because she has a strong personality and could be a much bigger star for the company, but she hasn’t been able to capitalize on her opportunities on WWE television.

There are a lot of reasons why she’s faded off WWE programming. A lot of it is booking, and a lot of it has to do with talent. Simply put, Summer isn’t a core member of WWE’s Women’s division, but that doesn’t mean she can’t be useful to the WWE product and help the company.

Since the WWE Draft though, she hasn’t been featured on WWE programming whatsoever. She hasn’t been on Raw, SmackDown, NXT, or even house shows. So what happened to Summer Rae?

Frankly, a lot people don’t think about her at all. They consider her to be a talent who is potentially on the future endeavored list. If these people do think about her, they’re going to wonder is she’s been released.

According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, Summer Rae has not been released. The reason why she hasn’t been featured on WWE programming is she’s dealing with nagging injuries to her neck and back.
