The Gift of Jericho has lasted much longer than most of us believed it would. Many suspected that Chris Jericho would be featured on WWE programming only through Wrestlemania.
However, Y2J is still here and will be staying through the WWE Draft and “Battleground” at least. The question though is how much longer will Jericho be staying on WWE television?
According to a report from WrestlingInc.com, Neville is due back for WWE Overseas tour in August. He’s scheduled to wrestle Chris Jericho over the four days tour of Australia and New Zealand.
That may not seem significant, but it reveals that Jericho will still be performing in the ring in August and “Summerslam” is a week after WWE’s Overseas tour.
It’s not a stretch to suspect that Y2J will still be featured on WWE programming through “Summerslam,” but he may stay even longer than that. There isn’t enough information. It’s more likely, Jericho will just disappear.

Frankly, this has been the best run of Jericho in quite a few years, and the heel turn has given him purpose on the WWE product that he hasn’t had for a long time. It’s going to be awhile before he overstays his welcome. If that is even possible for him to do.
Do you think Chris Jericho should stick around WWE after “Summerslam?”
