Cody Rhodes Upset About Recent Talks With WWE

It hasn’t been that long since Cody Rhodes was released by WWE, but so much has changed in the company and Cody has done so well outside of WWE that it seems like a much longer span of time.

Very recently, it was reported that Rhodes was negotiating a new deal with the company, which was very similar to a Legends deal that would have allowed WWE to sell his merchandise and other items.

According to a report from DailyWrestlingNews.com, Cody Rhodes was in fact been speaking with WWE for that unique deal, but the details haven’t been revealed.

We know it’s true because Cody is said to be quite upset with the fact that the “talks” with the company have gone public because they were supposed to be confidential.

It shouldn’t be that surprising that the talks between Rhodes and WWE were leaked to the internet and the dirtsheets, but the latest rumor is claiming that no deal has been reached between the two parties.

The deal wasn’t for an in-ring return anyway, but that door could always be left open for a part-time run with the company, which would allow him to keep most of his dates on the Independent scene.
