Last week, Chris Jericho responded to a fan question on Twitter about his involvement with Wrestlemania 32 in April of this year. Unfortunately, Y2J said no. However, this is not the first time Jericho has denied rumors of him returning to a WWE ring.

However, this is not the first time Jericho has denied rumors of him returning to a WWE ring. His Wrestlemania status is still up in the air, but that doesn’t mean anything when it comes to this month’s “Royal Rumble” PPV.

According to PWInsider.com, the former six-time WWE World Champion is currently backstage at WWE Raw in San Antonio. The report for them notes that he is not currently scheduled for Raw or Smackdown this week, but being backstage means that those plans could have changed recently.

It would be very like Chris Jericho to return briefly to the WWE ring for a few weeks to help WWE launch Smackdown on the USA Network with a little extra star power and then stick around to be in the “Royal Rumble” match in a few weeks.

If things develop on WWE television over the next few weeks with Jericho, maybe we could be seeing him at Wrestlemania in Dallas in a few months. Stay tuned tonight on Raw and keep an eye out for Y2J.
