For the past two years, the WWE Universe has been very disappointed with The People’s Champion absence at WrestleMania. The Rock hasn’t appeared on the grandest stage of them all since WrestleMania 32 in Dallas. There’s been plenty of speculation about the company trying to get him involved, but his Hollywood schedule keeps him too busy.

More importantly, the insurance policies keep The Great One from wrestling another match. The WWE Universe would be satisfied with The Rock just making an appearance from time to time. However, some fans are still hopeful that he could wrestle one more match. Unfortunately for them, his status for WrestleMania 35 is already confirmed.

According to a report from Rajah, the People’s Champion has just signed on for “Red Notice,” which will begin shooting in April 2019. Although the possibility remains open for him to appear on the show, his shooting for the new movie makes it impossible that he’ll be wrestling at WrestleMania 35. If he were to suffer any kind of injury, he would put the entire production in jeopardy and he would cost the studio millions of dollars.

Since his own production company has ‘Wrestling With My Family” coming out in April, it’s extremely likely The Great One will return to WWE programming and WrestleMania to promote the movie. Despite his ulterior motives, most people will still appreciate The Rock coming back to have some fun. While he’s in town, WWE might honor him as well.

The Rock Reacts to His First WWE Match: 20 YEARS OF THE ROCK

At WrestleMania 29, John Cena defeated The Rock to become the WWE Champion. The Great One hasn’t wrestled a match since. It’s highly unlikely he wants to wrestle another match. The Rock receiving a WWE Hall of Fame induction next year in New York makes a lot of sense. He also started his wrestling career in Madison Square Garden. On paper, there isn’t a better place for The People’s Champion to close the door on his career once and for all.

Should The Rock receive a WWE Hall of Fame induction next year?
