So, I just finished writing the report about Sasha Banks potentially being disgruntled with her position in WWE since Wrestlemania.

While she’s denied it on social media, she isn’t going to come out and complain about her spot. She’s smart enough to know that you don’t do that publicly like some guys have very recently.

However, the topic got me thinking about The Boss and the other women who are left without television time on Raw or SmackDown, and it struck me how unfair that is to them.

WWE has done a solid job with Charlotte vs. Natalya, and the Women’s Championship is off to a good start, but the women’s division lives and breathes with that one feud. There is no identity for the division outside of the Women’s title feud, and the rest of the roster gets sporadic appearances here and there.

It’s very difficult to have significant momentum that way and there just isn’t enough to time to build more feuds within the division to make it more meaningful with the way WWE is booking the overall division.

For a perfect example, look at Sasha Banks. Personally, she’s my favorite wrestler and maybe I’m biased, but she’s one of the best wrestlers in the entire company. The Boss is very over with the WWE Universe as well, but she can’t get a regular spot on Raw and Smackdown? That doesn’t make any sense at all. Not to me.

How do we fix this problem and give the women more time to develop their character without more time on Raw and Smackdown, which could admittedly hurt the show a little bit. Personally, I think SmackDown should feature the women much more than it does, but that’s me.

What if WWE developed a weekly show very similar to NXT that aired over the weekends that was strictly an all-female program that showcased the Women’s division on the WWE Network?

For example, Charlotte and Natalya can be featured on Raw and SmackDown, but the rest of the roster could develop their feuds, characters, and essentially act as a developmental show to keep the roster working, utilize the full roster, and make it far easier for the women to have momentum to then get on television to make an impact.

Potentially, this could lead to another Women’s Championship of some sort and possibly allow NXT and the main roster to match-up for some matches or feuds. If any feud became popular on the weekly program, it could be featured on Raw and SmackDown very easily to promote the show and the performers.

Simply put, you can build more stars in the Women’s division this way and give them a much better chance to succeed without having to sacrifice time on Raw or SmackDown to try things.

WWE wants to feature the Women’s division as something important. Giving them their own show will make that crystal clear and add a lot more depth to the division as a whole. It’s better for the entire company.

Do you want to see a weekly show focusing only on the Women’s division?
