John Cena is still recovering from shoulder surgery, but there has been a lot of speculation that he could still wrestle at Wrestlemania 32 in April.
If Cena is capable of wrestling in Dallas, he’ll most likely be paired in a much-anticipated match with The Undertaker. WWE has still not revealed Undertaker’s opponent despite a lot of speculation that he is not currently on the active roster.
Earlier today, John Cena did an interview with FOX Sports and he elaborated on his current status for Wrestlemania 32. You can watch the full interview right here. Below is what John Cena had to say about wrestling at Wrestlemania.
“Percentage-wise, I’m somewhere between zero and 100,” Cena said. “That’s a safe estimation for me. As far as me participating in WrestleMania 32, the Magic 8-Ball says ‘ask again later,’” Cena joked.
“But if I can’t perform, it would be unfortunate for the people watching WrestleMania to see me suffer through something that isn’t worthy of the event. I take a very unselfish approach to my job and what I do because people spend their hard-earned money to enjoy what we do,” added Cena. “And our goal is to deliver the best show possible. If I can contribute to that, great. If I can’t then, it not helping any of fans … we’ll see how it works. I know there will be a WrestleMania 33 and 34 and 35,” said Cena. “And hopefully, 100.”
