few weeks ago, The Shining Stars got a surprising win over Enzo Amore and Big Cass. The difference in momentum between the two teams puts them on opposite ends of the WWE spectrum.

WWE’s logic is to use Enzo and Cass’ momentum to help build Primo and Epico. On one hand, it’s just a way to build more teams. On the other hand, that’s momentum Enzo & Cass earned. Why should they share it?

According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, WWE will be adding Enzo and Cass versus The Shining Stars to the “Clash of Champions” card. It’ll likely be on the kickoff show, but at least they’ll be on the card.

The bigger problem here is a cheap win doesn’t build the Shining Stars if they lose the big match at the PPV. But, WWE has booked themselves into a corner because a loss to Primo & Epico could hurt Enzo and Cass.

It’s not that Primo and Epico aren’t good in the ring. They have no sense of character and being from Puerto Rico doesn’t appeal to an audience. If they had been talking about wrestling in Puerto Rico, that would be a different story. WWE is trying to get them over, but everyone involved needs to put in a lot more effort.

Do you think The Shining Stars getting over on Enzo and Cass is a smart move by WWE?
