Just last week, we were talking about WWE’s women main eventing a PPV. Some people scoffed, some people cheered. Overall, most people thought it was a good idea if the feud deserves it.

For example, Sasha Banks and Bayley stole “Summerslam” weekend at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn last year. A few months later, they were the main event of NXT Takeover: Respect because they deserved the spot.

The Boss and Bayley did things no woman has ever done in WWE, but now it looks the two friends/rivals could be making history again, but on a much bigger stage if WWE officials pull the trigger on their plan.

According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, WWE officials are kicking around the idea of booking a woman’s match to main event a PPV. Their first choice would be Banks vs. Bayley.

The worst thing WWE could do is force the woman’s main event. It’s not that they don’t deserve an equal chance at the spot, but the first time it happens is a big deal. Banks and Bayley got the spot in NXT because they earned it. No offense intended, but WWE could be forcing it rather than letting it happen organically.
