Emma had some bad luck earlier this year. After her first run through WWE’s developmental system, NXT, and the main roster ended in disaster, she was given a second chance to try again.
She found new life as a heel on NXT, took Dana Brooke under her wing, and was brought back to the main roster for Wrestlemania 32 and beyond.
Unfortunately, a back injury took her out of action for the majority of 2016. Brooke went with Charlotte and is getting over with the WWE Universe as the foil to Charlotte’s heel run.
Emma will be a game changer for Raw or SmackDown to provide some depth, but also reach the level of WWE that her talent deserves to take her. Apparently, she could return much sooner than expected.
According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, Emma was recently backstage at Raw in Baltimore earlier this week and her return is imminent.
However, just because she appeared backstage at Raw doesn’t mean she’ll be moved to Raw when she returns. She could provide a lot of depth on SmackDown. Raw’s division is stacked enough as it is.
Do you think Emma can become WWE Women’s or SmackDown Women’s Champion when she returns?
