WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins suffered significant injuries, and he will be out of action for the next six to nine months at the bare minimum. Obviously, Seth Rollins will not be able to compete at “Survivor Series” against Roman Reigns.
Seth Rollins has vacated the WWE Championship, and WWE has ordered a tournament at “Survivor Series” to crown a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion at the event on November 22nd. WWE.com has confirmed the tournament and Jonathan Coachman has tweeted the following:

The WWE roster was already short stacked by the absence of John Cena and Randy Orton. Seth Rollins has been one of the most important performers to WWE programming for the last two years. WWE’s roster is even more depleted and there are serious concerns as to how WWE will cope with a loss of this magnitude.
Any news or updates that occur on this situation will be reported right here as soon as possible.
