There is some speculation going around that The Rock could be appearing at “Survivor Series” later this month. The expectation is that The Rock could be at the event to begin building towards a match at Wrestlemania 32 in Dallas. There is only speculation on who could be his opponent in April.
Last month, it was reported by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE’s promotion department was told that The People’s Champion and WWE officially have been in serious talks and potentially negotiations about doing a program by the end of the year.
The Rock has not appeared on WWE programming since Wrestlemania 31 in a segment with The Authority and Ronda Rousey. That segment has led to even more speculation that a mixed tag match between Triple H and Stephanie McMahon vs. The Rock and Rousey could take place. No confirmation of those plans has been found in 2015.
This report dealt with more than speculation of The Rock appearing at “Survivor Series”.
On the same report last month, it claimed that The Undertaker was in much better physical shape than he was in previous years. Undertaker was said to be more open to working more dates. Since that report, The Undertaker has worked WWE’s Tour of Mexico, “Hell in a Cell”, and will be participating in the twenty-five year anniversary of his debut.
That rumor turned out to be true. Only time will tell if The Rock’s rumor will follow. It’s be known for sure on November 22nd at “Survivor Series.”
