According to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live, there may be another plan for Braun Strowman since Bray Wyatt vs. Brock Lesnar is also a very popular match for that event.
As of this writing, the most recent rumors from Alvarez are claiming that WWE is planning The Big Show to be Strowman’s opponent to put him over at “Fastlane” to get him ready for either Brock Lesnar, or The Undertaker.
That’s right. Apparently, there is some discussion about having both Bray Wyatt vs. Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman vs. The Undertaker at Wrestlemania this April.
There was some concern about Strowman’s inexperience and a match against Lesnar being too much of a high-pressure situation for him. So, it’s confusing to understand why WWE would have that logic, but choose Undertaker as a possible opponent.
It could be because they previously worked together on the Mexico tour several months ago, or maybe Undertaker specifically said he wants to work with him.
Either way, The Big Show is a great opponent to put over Strowman for whatever WWE decides to do with him for Wrestlemania, but the expectation is that he will have a match on the grandest stage of them all.
