Back in the fall of 2015, there was a lot of speculation and rumors about the current NXT Champion Finn Balor being brought to the main roster from NXT.

It’s now being revealed through a report from DailyWrestlingNews.com that the reasoning behind those rumors was that Vince McMahon and Triple H have been at odds about when the right time is to “call up” Balor to the main roster.

According to that report, McMahon is the one pushing for Balor to be brought to the main roster sooner rather than later.

Vince McMahon was also said to be interested in bringing “The Balor Club” to Raw and Smackdown, even before the news of AJ Styles and former Bullet Club members coming to WWE broke on the internet.

However, Triple H has strongly argued against both ideas because the feeling is that Balor’s character needs a slow build on the main roster to show off his versatility and for the WWE Universe to get to know him on his own first before throwing a stable on him.

The debut of AJ Styles at the “Royal Rumble” and the eventual signing of Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows from New Japan Pro Wrestling has brought the conversation back up between Vince and The Game to decide how to utilize that talent and bring “The Balor Club” to WWE.
