The last match Booker T had in WWE was at Wrestlemania 28 in the Team Johnny vs. Team Teddy. No offense to anyone involved in that match, but the former WCW World Champion and WWE Hall of Fame deserves a better ending to his career than that.

A full comeback at the age of fifty one isn’t easy, but Goldberg is doing it right now and he’s set to have the biggest match of “Survivor Series” weekend. A full run may be too much, but one more match at Wrestlemania is certainly a possibility for Booker T.

According to a report from Inquisitir.com, Booker T is still interested in returning to the ring in the near future. In fact, he recently brought up the idea during an episode of “Table For 3” on the WWE Network with Goldust and R-Truth at the dinner table.

Booker’s idea would be for him to partner with Golden Truth to face The New Day at Wrestlemania 33. As great as seeing Booker T end his career on a fun note like that, The New Day is respectfully above a match like that on the grandest stage of them all.

Honestly, Booker T was a strong enough performer that a singles match would have a greater impact, especially if he were to put another young star over. He could do a lot for Apollo Crews or help a member of New Day get off the ground as a singles star.
