American Alpha Interested in Adding Third Member to Their Tag Team

American Alpha is the future of the tag team division on SmackDown. That is beyond dispute, but many people would argue that Chad Gable and Jason Jordan have the best tag team in WWE right now. Of course, that’s debatable, but they’re in the conversation.

However, the recent success of trios in WWE has created an interesting idea for their tag team going forward. The Shield and The New Day are proof that trios can be very successful in WWE when the partnership is right, and Alpha could be interested as well.

During WWE’s European tour, Gable and Jordan were in Barcelona and visited the city’s infamous football team, F.C Barcelona, and extended an invitation to Lionel Messi if he were ever interested in entering the squared circle in WWE, he could be on their team.

Of course, that is just to promote WWE in Barcelona and little will come of that, but the idea of adding a third member to their team is very interesting, especially when a guy like Shelton Benjamin is due back from an injury very soon.
